Dr. LaJohnna Mitchell
The Professional Side
As a young girl hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. LaJohnna Mitchell, always knew she was going to be a dental hygienist. After graduating from Florida College with a degree in Dental Hygiene, Dr. LaJohnna has enjoyed an impressive 46+ year career.
Not only does she have extensive post-graduate education in all phases of dentistry, Dr. LaJohnna is also an instructor at First Class Dental Assisting School of Nashville, has experience working with Duval county’s Dental Forensic Team, and has provided hygiene care to those less fortunate in Guatemala, while on medical mission trips.
Dr. LaJohnna believes that a comfortable environment and a good relationship is what opens the door to achieving optimal dental health, and she is excited to help her patients reach such a goal.
When not being our superb dental hygienist, you can find Dr. LaJohnna hunting for deals in her favorite antique stores, tending to her garden, crafting some D.I.Y. project for her home in Springfield, Tennessee, or spending time with her family. After all, she is quite proud to be the “Jam” to her grandson.
